The Grey Heron is the brainchild of Fashion Designer Jessie Sandhu Golcha . She started the brand in 2016 , when sustainable fashion was still an unknown concept in India. Having travelled to over a 100 countries , she experienced fashion from all over the world very closely and was always amazed at how infinite this canvas really was.
The Grey Heron was launched in November 2016, and right from the onset was a huge success. “We believe in the good old concept of word of mouth ,and that good clothes and satisfied customers bring in the most amount of business and success” . “I still have clients 7 years on who call me and tell me that they are still wearing a dress or a shirt that they bought a few years ago and that they still get compliments”. “That to me is extremely gratifying”
Having several A lister celebrities who have worn The Grey heron , like Malaika Arora, Kriti Sanon, Lisa Ray, Moiny Roy, Pooja Hegde , Shaheen Abbas , Kubbra sait , fashion influencer like Tania Shroff , we believe that we are literally just starting off.
From 2020 till 2022 The Grey heron had to shut business in the light of Covid only to come back more stronger and with better techniques and styles.
